This got to be Chow's best film imo if not darn close to it. It sure is one of mine. The second part is definitely better than the first. Regarding, the 2nd vs the 1st, some people are confused perhaps because the users had were using poor subtitles. Others thought the theme of love was not expressed effectively because they didn't understand the film and were confused. Well duh, what do you expect? The first film merely paints the background to the forthcoming matter, name *spoiler* that he inevitably loves Zixia more than to Jingjing even to his own surprise and against his will because of destiny.

在我看来这将是周星驰最棒的影片，对我来说这部电影就是我最喜欢的电影之一。第二部比第一部要精彩的多，把第一部和第二部拿在一起比较的话，有很多人可能会由于使用了糟糕的字幕，而对某些剧情感到困惑。也有些人觉得关于爱情的主题没有很好的传达出来，因为他们根本无法理解这部电影。不过，你想从这部电影中获得什么呢？第一部电影只是为第二部的展开进行故事线的铺垫，暗示（剧透）了他不可避免地爱上了紫霞，甚至要多于晶晶，甚至连他自己都感到吃惊，因为命运使然，但这违背了他的意愿

Anyhow, this film makes me laugh and cry after 10 years. Yes, you should watch in the original language of Cantonese because that's Chow's voice and mother language of comedy for crying out loud. Get proper subtitles/versions. The original videos had them and they surely can't be that bad. I'm a Chinese born Canadian and my Chinese wasn't that good when I was young and I followed the English subtitles and I still understood the films.

不管怎么样，都快过去十年了，这部电影依旧能够带给我欢笑和感动。是的，你们应该看一看粤语原版，因为原版里的是周星驰的声音，也是这部喜剧的“母语”，能够更好的诠释“大哭”部分的剧情，一定要找到合适的字幕，原版视频中有这些，它们肯定不会那么糟糕，我是一个在加拿大出生的华裔，我的中文水平并不是很好，我年轻的时候，总是跟着英语字幕来看电影而且能够很好的理解电影。

The music is spectacular. It makes my heart yearn for something I cannot describe. Love. Regret. Destiny. Reincarnation. Wuxia. Comedy. Light heartedness 

这部电影非常的精彩，它使我的内心发生悸动，像是在渴望一些描述不来的东西：爱情、遗憾、命运、重生、武侠、喜剧、无忧无虑

I can only say go watch it. If you don't understand it, get proper guidance.

我唯一想说的就是：去看看这部电影，要是你理解不了，接受一些合适的指导

To me this movie is not just a comedy, it's a fairy tale of love stories. Especially when ZiXia yelled " everything on this mountain belongs to me!including you." when she first appeared, it just somehow shocked me. After a third time watching this, it still didn't fail to make me laugh and of course the ending just broke my heart when ZiXia told Monkey King " My lover is a great hero. One day he will be riding a colorful clouds to marry me. I was right for the first part,but not the ending..."

对我来说，这部电影不仅仅是一部喜剧，也是一部相当精彩的爱情故事。尤其是当紫霞刚出现的时候，喊到“山上的每件东西都是我的，包括你”，当时真的有把握感动到。在第三次看完这部电影以后，它依旧能够戳到我的笑点，当然，最后结局那部分也不断地在打动我的心，尤其是紫霞对美猴王说“我爱的人是一个大英雄，有一天他会驾着七彩祥云来迎娶我，我猜到了开头，但却没有猜到结局……”

Masters of Slapstick Comedy

简介：

This two part movie, is easily deserving on a 10/10 rating. And if you twisted my arm enough into choosing which is better, I would say it's the second part. The comedy is funnier, and the story is able to rap up in a satisfying way.

这两部电影，值得10分的评价，如果你硬要我在两部中选出哪一部更加的精彩，我肯定说第二部更加好，喜剧部分更加有趣，故事能够以一种让人感觉很舒服的方式被阐述出来

The Good:

Stephen Chow is hilarious in his role as the Joker, or Monkey King. Given a lot of funny lines and moments to shine in his talent as a slapstick comedian. This is probably his best film. The musical score by Lowell Lo is spectacular, probably better than his work on the first film. The action is also entertaining and always funny to watch, and the movie as a whole is just a blast. The ending of the film was touching and satisfied me. Really making these two films worth the watch.

周星驰扮演的至尊宝或者美猴王都非常的滑稽，大量的趣味片段展示了他独特的喜剧天赋。这部电影可能是他最好的一部影片，音乐也非常的给力，比第一部要好得多，动作镜头也更加的让人容易赏析，给观众带来很多的趣味，所以整体来看这部电影非常的精彩。电影的结局非常的让人感动，我很喜欢，这两部电影真的非常值得一看。

The film has a real sense of adventure, it's a great action movie, it's a great comedy, it's a great romance, it's an awesome movie. And a movie I will always come back to.

这部电影充满了冒险感，很棒的动作电影，也是一部精彩的喜剧，也充满了浪漫色彩，总之是一部非常棒的影片，我相信自己会再看几遍的。

The Bad:

The sets and costumes are not convincing in this film. And that technically qualifies as a flaw. However, I think the costumes and sets were terrible for the sake of adding to the film's comedy. So it qualifies as a criticism, but I don't fault the film.

不足之处：

这部电影的布景以及服装有点儿不尽人意，后期的技术修饰（估计是特效的意思）也是一个缺陷，但是，我觉得服装以及布景为电影的喜剧效果打了很大的折扣，所以这算是一种批评，但我的意思并不是说这部电影不好

Conclusion:

A Chinese Odyssey Part Two is an excellent second chapter to a great story. And a crash course in how to execute good slapstick comedy, and just comedy in general. The action is fun to watch, the comedy work, the romance is interesting, the characters are likable, and the movie is great and worth a 10/10 rating.

《大话西游Ⅱ》构造的是一部非常伟大的故事，很精彩。也是一部教大家如何表演好无厘头喜剧以及一般戏剧的速成教程。动作镜头非常有趣，喜剧部分、浪漫剧情也都很精彩，人物特征也很可爱，总之这部电影值得一个10分的分数
