海军辽宁舰航母编队赴西太平洋开展演训活动

5月19日，中国人民解放军海军组织辽宁舰航母编队赴西太平洋相关海域开展训练，其间，将进行远海战术飞行、实弹射击、支援掩护、综合救援等科目演练，检验提升部队实战化训练水平。这是根据年度计划组织的例行性训练，旨在不断提高履行使命能力，符合相关国际法和国际实践。

On May 19, the PLA Navy sent a carrier task group led by PLANS Liaoning to relevant waters of the Western Pacific to conduct training on such subjects as far-seas tactical flight, live firing, support and cover, and integrated search and rescue, so as to test and enhance the realistic combat training capabilities of the forces. This is a routine training organized in accordance with the annual plan, which aims to enhance the military’s capability to fulfill its missions, and is fully in compliance with international law and practice.
