不能接受！美国高速公路网不如中国

看来 @晨枫 先生也是震惊了并正处于否认和拒绝阶段，我们来帮他过渡到接受阶段吧。

有人找出了美国交通干道图，上面还显示了州际高速之外，还有密密麻麻的红线，是否也是高速呢？

其图例部分放大如下：

我们着重看上面两个：双蓝色线， 这是最重要的，叫Eisenhower Interstate System, 艾森豪州际系统，也就是州际高速公路。

红线， Other NHS Routes,  NHS 是 National Highway System, 叫其他国家干道系统道路。

美国的highway 是 a main road, especially one connecting major towns or cities， 是主干道的意思，不是高速路，更不是我们中国意义上的高速公路。

州际高速公路与"其他国家干道系统道路"有什么区别呢？

根据美国政府的 Road Function Classifications定义，有兴趣的可以查看链接如下：

其中明确定义：

The Interstate System
is the highest classificationof roadways in the United States. These
arterial roads provide the highest level of mobility and the highest
speeds over the longest uninterrupted distance. Interstates nationwide
usually have posted speeds between 55 and75 mi/h.

简译：州际公路系统， 美国最高等级公路，最长的不受干扰距离（是否全封闭不确定，中国是全封闭） 。限速55-75英里/时，转换公里为 88-120公里/时

Other Arterials
include freeways, multilane highways, and other important roadways that
supplement the Interstate System. They connect, as directly as
practicable, the Nationís principal urbanized areas, cities,and
industrial centers. Land access is limited. Posted speedlimits on
arterials usually range between 50 and 70 mi/h

简译： 其它主干道， 包括 freeway (快速路, 限55英里/时以下），multilane highways （多车道主干道），非封闭，限速 50-70英里/时，转换公里为 80-112公里/时。

图上那密密麻麻的红线，都属于 Other Arterials。

实际上美国各州情况差别极大，同属于州际高速系统在各州都有区别，更别说other NHS 了。

综上，达到并符合中国高速公路标准的，只有州际高速公路系统。
